We respect your privacy.

Some of the information you give us whilst using this site will be stored in a database, but be assured that it will only be used to enhance the fun you're having on this site only.

You are in complete control of your personal information. It is possible that the name you choose for yourself will be made public in the ‘MyMob’, ‘Discuss’ and ‘Comment Wall’ sections, but you can delete your account at any time by going to the 'Unsubscribe' section on the site.

This will remove all personal information such as your name and email address from our records and you should receive no further correspondence from us. Anonymous data such as age, gender, location, etc will continue to be stored in order to allow us to evaluate the effectiveness of the site.

We comply with the National Privacy Principles as outlined in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000, and we want to ensure that you have complete control over the data we store. USMOB does not share your information with other companies unless you want us to. If you have any concerns about USMOB's use of personal data, or its use on any other USMOB projects, please email privacy@usmob.com.au

Privacy Policy

This privacy statement is applicable to all USMOB websites.

USMOB respects the privacy of its Internet users and will protect that privacy as vigorously as possible.

USMOB does not collect information that personally identifies individuals except when individuals provide such specific information on a voluntary basis. For example, registration is needed to participate in the USMOB website. This kind of registration helps us to ensure that content standards on the site are rigorously upheld. Information requested in order to personalize the USMOB website is a similar example.

In all such cases, USMOB will collect only information that is voluntarily provided by the user and undertakes that such information will be kept strictly confidential. Individual information provided to USMOB to gain access to any USMOB site will not be sold or made available to a third party.

USMOB does reserve the right, however, to perform statistical analyses of user behaviour and characteristics, in order to measure interest in and use of the various sections of its sites so as to improve design and navigation and to gather marketing information. Only aggregated data from these analyses, not individual data, will be used for this purpose.

As well, users should be aware that certain non-personal information and data may be automatically collected by USMOB through the operation of what are called "cookies". "Cookies" are small text files that identify an individual computer's browser entering a web site. They allow the site to track that browser's movement through the site over several sessions. Through cookies, a web site can recognize repeat users, facilitate the user's access to and use of the site and allow a site to track usage behaviour that will allow content improvements.

If you do not want a cookie placed on your computer by USMOB, you may disable cookies altogether by modifying the Preferences section of your Netscape or Internet Explorer browser (under Edit/Preferences/Advanced). Note that it is possible that some aspects of the USMOB sites may be unavailable to you if you choose this option.

If you have no problem accepting cookies, but wish to be informed of their appearance, you may turn on a warning prompt by modifying the cookie warning section in Edit/Preferences/Advanced.
